Bois Richeux,
an intimate garden for a weekend visit
Inspired by the mediaeval history of the site, Alix and Hubert Mourot have recreated an enclosed garden amid the lovingly restored buildings of the farm of Bois Richeux. You can admire their work in the elegant chequerboard design with paving and woven wicker features. The raised squares and plots bordered with box tree are planted with magical and symbolic herbs and medicinal plants. The garden nourishes the body, heart and soul, and is an ideal spot for resting and dreaming, as well as offering visitors an original insight into these familiar plants with such special qualities.
